Come to Sam’s Point to celebrate International Astronomy Day! Then, everyone will head outside to view the moon through a variety of telescopes provided by members of MHAA, who will also be there to answer questions about the moon, or astronomy in general. If conditions permit, viewing of other astronomical objects such as Jupiter or star clusters, will also occur. If there is inclement weather, this program will be held on Sunday, April 22nd. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Meet at the Sam’s Point Visitor Center. Pre-registration is required by calling Sam’s Point at (845) 647-7989.
