Tommy’s down and out. Living in debt, avoiding his ex-wife and kids, occupying a dump of a Dublin room rented from his uncle, and trying to get by through one get-rich-quick scheme after another. Then one day, he comes to the rescue of Aimee, who’s just getting by herself. Together this unusual pairing will try to get beyond their pasts and make something of their lives, struggling to find a glimmer of hope in the most unlikely of circumstances.
